From has returned to Netflix searches, but availability depends on the country. Netflix’s Tudum said on October 19 that the first three seasons were streaming on the service in its US context, while season four had already arrived on Globoplay in Brazil on May 7, 2026. The horror and science-fiction series has been renewed for a fifth season, although MGM+ has not announced an exact premiere date. The distinction between regional catalogs matters for viewers trying to find the show.

Known as Origem in Brazil, the series follows residents trapped in an isolated town that no one can leave. Harold Perrineau plays Boyd Stevens, the sheriff trying to keep the community alive as creatures emerge at night and the town’s mysteries challenge what its residents believe. John Griffin created the series, which is distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content.

Which seasons are on Netflix?

In an October 19 article, Tudum, Netflix’s official editorial site, said the first three seasons were available on the service. That statement reflects the US-market context of the article; it does not say that the same seasons are available in every country. Netflix catalogs change according to regional licensing agreements, so a US Top 10 appearance is not proof that a title or season is available in another territory.

The recent attention around From is tied to its performance among Netflix’s most-watched titles in the United States. That visibility explains why viewers are searching for the show again, but it does not change the distribution rights in each market. Streaming services can carry different seasons of the same series, and release dates may differ even when the distributor is the same.

Where to watch season four in Brazil

Season four premiered on Globoplay in Brazil on May 7, 2026. The date was announced by the platform and reported by CNN Brasil. Brazilian viewers should therefore check Globoplay for the newest season; the addition of seasons one through three to Netflix in the United States does not mean season four has also moved to Brazilian Netflix.

Paramount Global Content lists From as an MGM+ series with four seasons and 40 episodes. Its official title page gives April 19, 2026 as the season-four premiere. The gap between that date and the Brazilian launch illustrates why streaming reports need to name both the country and the service.

What is known about season five?

The series has been renewed for a fifth season, according to Paramount Global Content’s official page. The renewal is confirmed, but the page does not provide a precise release date. Estimates based on previous production cycles are not studio announcements. Until MGM+ or the producers publish a schedule, no exact day or month for the new episodes is official.

A renewal also does not guarantee that every market will receive episodes on the same platform. MGM+ is the brand attached to the series in distribution materials, while international rights can be handled by local partners. In Brazil, the fourth-season launch on Globoplay was announced separately with a territory-specific date.

Why the show is trending again

From combines horror, science fiction and survival drama. Its enclosed setting makes every attempt to understand the town feel dangerous. Boyd handles the immediate threats, while residents including Tabitha and Jade look for clues about the place and its rules. The mystery-driven format gives viewers plenty to discuss between seasons, and renewed attention often follows when new episodes or a new streaming home bring a show to a wider audience.

The cast is another draw. Alongside Perrineau, the series features Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders and Scott McCord. Perrineau is often highlighted for his earlier work on Lost, but From has built its own mythology and questions across its episodes.

“Seasons 1-4 (40 eps total)”

That distinction is particularly useful because From is marketed internationally under more than one title. Brazilian coverage uses Origem, while the original English title is used in US streaming listings. Searching by either name can help viewers find local information, but it does not replace checking the provider itself: third-party search results may mix release dates from different countries.

Netflix in the US, Globoplay in Brazil

The short version: Netflix’s Tudum reported seasons one through three in the US context; in Brazil, season four arrived on Globoplay on May 7. Paramount confirms four seasons and a fifth-season renewal, but has not given an exact premiere date for the next episodes.

Streaming availability can change as licensing deals evolve. Check the local catalog before subscribing or searching for a specific season. The Revista Pixel TV and series section follows streaming news, and our report on Netflix series covers other changes in how shows reach audiences.
